Despite the World Environment Day being held annually on June 5th, we know it is not a one-day-a-year issue. We should constantly reflect on the impact caused by us on the planet and search for solutions and alternatives to reduce this impact.

SIMPLE ORGANIC ON THE WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY

Here at Simple, we work daily on several fronts that we see as essential to always do better, such as:

• The development of high-performance clean formulas;
• Better and more accessible solutions for packaging;
• Encouraging reverse logistics and offering adequate structure;
• Rigorous selection of raw materials sourced from conscious suppliers who are equally concerned with sustainability;
• Carbon offset actions;
• Partnerships to foment institutions dedicated to minimizing human impact on the planet.

Our products are sustainable on their own, based on our choice of raw materials and supply chain. As you can see, it’s the priority when developing all our lines of products.

Also in June, we celebrate World Ocean Day, on the 8th. It's an opportunity to remember that we are currently in the UN’s Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development. Known as the “Ocean Decade”, proclaimed in 2017 by the United Nations, it covers the period from 2021 to 2030.

Now, we are incredibly proud to announce Simple Organic as the new “Friend of the Sea” company through a collaborative partnership that will finance Sea Shepherd Brazil.

Sea Shepherd is an international, non-profit marine conservation organization founded in 1977. In Brazil, it began in 1999 and works to defend, conserve and protect biodiversity in our rivers and seas, and enforce conservation laws.

From the giants of the sea to its smallest creatures, Sea Shepherd Brazil’s mission is to protect all marine species that live in the oceans, with effective campaigns in defense of whales, dolphins, seals, sharks, penguins, turtles, river dolphins, fishes, and aquatic birds from illegal or unsustainable fishing, habitat destruction, and exploitation in captivity.
