One of our favorite ingredients for healthy skin is Vitamin C. Effective and versatile, its prominence is not for nothing. From benefits for mature skin to protection against UV rays, we are here to show you how to introduce this high-performance ingredient into your skincare routine. Come check it out!
VITAMIN C FOR YOUR FACE
For skincare, vitamin C is known for its antioxidant properties. It helps protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals, besides stimulating collagen production, which contributes to firm and youthful skin. It brightens dark spots, softens fine lines, and reduces the appearance of wrinkles, thus being an excellent option for mature skin.
VITAMIN C SERUM – WITH NO RISK OF OXIDIZING
Our Vitamin C Serum is formulated with 100% natural vitamin C in its stable form, so there's no risk of oxidizing, even with a clear glass packaging.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
Ascorbic acid, also known as vitamin C, has a high risk of oxidation when in contact with light, oxygen, and high temperatures. In its free form, ascorbic acid can oxidate irreversibly, making the active ingredient lose its beneficial properties for the skin.
To avoid oxidation, our Vitamin C Serum is formulated with a stabilized form of Vitamin C, Ascorbyl Glucoside. This molecule provides more stability to the formulation, which makes it resistant to degradation and color alterations, assuring stability throughout the entire shelf life.
Even though it is derived from Vitamin C, the form utilized here doesn’t present an inferior performance. When the Ascorbyl Glucoside molecule touches the skin, it releases vitamin C in its active form gradually and prolongedly.
VITAMIN C – WHO CAN USE IT?
Since it’s a multifaceted substance that protects and hydrates the skin, everyone can use Vitamin C on their face. You can introduce it into your skincare routine around the age of 25, when collagen production starts to reduce, or even before, to prevent and delay early aging.
HOW TO USE THE VITAMIN C SERUM?
It should be the third step in your routine, right after cleansing and toning. You can apply both in the morning and at night. There is no use restriction. You can also combine your Vitamin C Serum with other high-performance Serums without a specific order of application.
