Our Natural Alpha Bisabolol is produced from the Candeia’s (Eremanthus erythropappus) tree trunk, a specie found in the Brazilian Atlantic Rainforest, specially at the Espinhaço Mountain Range.
ADVANTAGES OF NATURAL ALPHA-BISABOLOL
The tree trunk is ground to produce Candeia oil, through physical processes and minimum harm to the environment, obtaining then (-) - Alpha-Bisabolol (95% purity), an isomer responsible for the efficiency of the anti-rash action. In contrast, synthetic Bisabolol contains a racemic mixture of (-) – Alpha-Bisabolol and (+) – Alpha-Bisabolol of a minimum 42,5% purity.
Natural Bisabolol is then twice as efficient as its synthetic derivative. This is shown in plenty of efficiency studies.
Another advantage of Natural Alpha-Bisabolol is the lack of Farnesol, component present in essential oils, used to offer scent to cosmetic products.
This ingredient is one of the 26 substances that should be listed on the INCI of the label, due to the ingredient’s capacity of being harmful to allergic people.
Unlike the synthetic one, Natural Alpha-Bisabolol is indicated for all kinds of cosmetic formulations, due to its stability and compatibility to the skin. Its anti-rash effect makes it specially indicated for sensible skins.
